ABOUT PETER NAPOLES
Peter Napoles is a Marine Corps veteran, IT leader, husband, and father who has dedicated his life to service — to his country, his community, and now to the people of Monroe.
Peter served nine years in the United States Marine Corps, rising to become a Desktop Support Team Lead and Company IT Chief. He managed critical communications systems, supported operations for more than 185,000 Marines, and maintained IT readiness for over 300 users while overseeing $2 million in military IT assets. The Corps shaped him with discipline, accountability, and a mission-first mindset — qualities he carries today.
After the Marines, Peter built a successful career in information technology. With 14+ years of IT and cybersecurity experience, he has led multi-million-dollar budgets, negotiated vendor contracts that delivered large cost savings, overseen enterprise cybersecurity operations, and supported global humanitarian missions as an IT Manager at Global Support and Development. His work has included developing IT strategy, managing $1M+ budgets, strengthening cybersecurity posture, improving service operations, and building high-performing teams.
Peter’s story is also deeply rooted in the immigrant experience. He is the son of a proud Cuban-American family, raised with the values of faith, hard work, and freedom. His family’s journey from Cuba taught him the importance of opportunity and the responsibility to serve others.
Peter’s wife was born in Venezuela, and her own journey — from a country in crisis to becoming a proud United States citizen — is a powerful reminder of what America still represents: hope, opportunity, and the chance to build a better life. Together, Peter and his wife are raising their children here in Monroe, the city they proudly call home.
Peter isn’t running for mayor to play politics. He is running to bring steady, common-sense leadership back to Monroe, grounded in service, transparency, preparation, and We the People. His mission is simple:
Reconnect Monroe — with trust, with purpose, and with real leadership that puts citizens first.
